Fitness Junky

If there is anything you should know about me then it is that I am a fitness junky! I’ve dabbled in a whole lot of everything when it comes to fitness, working out or just being active in general ranging from HS or club sports, marathons or just kicking the ball around with friends.

Jr. high to high school were mainly all about cross country, track, or soccer and as I grew older running, bike riding and the weight room became my activities of choice. Since about late 2014 my attention has been on powerlifting which is a focus on maximal weight on 3 core lifts: squats, bench and deadlift. While my powerlifting journey began kind of fluky (My Tech Job Led Me To Powerlifting) I ended up falling in love with the sport and having looked back since!

I work out regularly and it’s not ALL powerlifting training. I still very much love to run and bodybuilding exercises are a part of every workout I complete and I’m also looking into getting my hands on a road bike. So yes, fitness is important to me 🙂.
